I think they have the cargo stacked off balance toward the aft.

Yeah, I think the center of gravity on that thing is aft. But, whether that's his girl friend or wife, he certainly has her trained well! :-)

A nice set up to be sure, but I fear it is not, and I mean definately not, quieter than a trolling motor.

Speaking of trolling motors, Ed. I had a 10 horse Chrysler outboard that I gave $10 for back in the late 70s. My buddy had a boat with an 25 horse Merc. There were a couple of lakes (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) that you could only use 10 horse and under motors on. So twice we used my Chrysler on that lake and and twice it conked out on us and we had to row back to the boat ramp. He suggested we use it as an anchor the next time we went fishing.

It was pretty funny when he said it that day. You would have had to have been there.
