While I am solidly behind his statement, "Those who are here illegally should not receive tacit support from our government that gives an indication of legitimacy", I am still having trouble with the fact that his name is Mitt. It is not a normal name and has me quite suspicious.
My wife is a legal immigrant. Legal immigration is a pain in the arse and expensive. So I am very much opposed to anything that trivializes and/or provides amnesty for someone who skipped that part of the process.

I'm not an expert, but in the Mormon faith I think Mitt is used as the shortened version of Jerome.
So, you could probably vote for Jerome Romney, couldn't you?
