Kentucky, one of only eleven "free" states

Free to carry a firearm openly, that is. Check it out.

I know, I know it only shows 10, but it seems that Mississippi is open carry, but they're confused about it.

Nice to know I've not been breaking the law, because I often have a gun on my side here in beautiful KY.

I picked up a little five shot .38 caliber revolver to carry concealed the other day. Nice shooting little gun and is quite accurate at 25 yards (the only distance I've shot it so far). It's called an undercover model made by Charter Arms in Connecticut.

Charter Arms, yep I'm familiar with them, Fish. Mrs GunTrash carried a Charter Arms snub-nose when we first met and now #1 daughter-in-law packs it. Mrs GT now carries a Kel-Tec P-32.

But back to Charter Arms - They went belly-up back in the 90s (I think) and have resurrected the brand just a few years ago. I'm glad to see that.

Carrying a .38 Special in a snub-nose revolver as your CCW gun is an excellent choice. And if it's accurate at 25 yards, that's all you need. :-)
