Your tax dollars at work

Do you remember all of those trailers that FEMA bought for the Hurricane Katrina survivors?

Did you ever wonder what happened to them?

I can't do a direct link, but check this one out - click on the vehicles/parts tab at the top and then the trailers/mobile homes link.

I don't know if any of them are a bargain or not, but it appears that FEMA has plenty of takers. While I don't ever see myself living in a trailer, this one going for $100 (so far) sure seems a bargain.

Just got back from N.O doing a Habitat for Humanity. There are still a lot of folks down there who could use one of these trailers.
The red tape is unbelievable.

That's incredible. The Feds are practically giving 'em away in Indiana and there's still folks from Katrina that could use 'em.

Incredible.
