Newt* called it

We subscribe to Time-Warner's mid-level offering of cablevision. It's about 100 channels or so, plus high-speed internet, but none of the premium channels like HBO or Showtime. That's fine as neither of us is much of a TV watcher. We do watch the local news channels, a couple of religious programs, PBS, Turner Classic Movies, and the Teutels and Dog occasionally.

That's about it and at a cost of just over $100 a month it gripes my derriere when I do that monthly check to the TW conglomerate. My frugal soul feels that it's not money very well spent and I do think along these lines at times.

*Newt - No, not the former Speaker of the House, this Newt.
