Blame it on Bush - Update

1 Sep Update

From the Philadelphia Daily News, via Yahoo News:

.... yet after 2003, the flow of federal dollars toward SELA dropped to a trickle. The Corps never tried to hide the fact that the spending pressures of the war in Iraq, as well as homeland security -- coming at the same time as federal tax cuts -- was the reason for the strain. At least nine articles in the Times-Picayune from 2004 and 2005 specifically cite the cost of Iraq as a reason for the lack of hurricane- and flood-control dollars.

Yes! Finally, proof positive that the flooding of New Orleans is directly attributable to BushHitler, Rumsfeld, and their devilish cabal. Unjust war, tax cuts for his filthy rich oil friends, and of course, the twisted mind of Karl Rove all caused this disaster.

Now, the fact that Big Easy is in an area prone to hurricanes and that it is below sea level has NOTHING whatsoever to do with the flooding. ;-) Plus, even though the dead haven't been buried yet or people returned to their homes, it's never too early for finger-pointing. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Daily News for being one of the first to point their finger!

30 Aug Update

Not only will any slow recovery be George Bush's fault, but also, according to some Germans, the hurricane itself was his fault as well.

Original Post

The recovery effort from Hurricane Katrina will be hobbled because of BushHitler's war in Iraq!

Think that statement could only come from leftist wackos like a certain lady camped out in Crawford, Texas whose name I promised never to mention again. Well, you might be wrong if you thought that. While not verbatim, per se, here's some close enough Bravo Sierra from a few of the talking heads out there in TVland.
