Some question that Lenin ever said that. But, as I've posted before, if an accurate quote, then one of today's most useful idiots has to be Jimmy Carter. And not only a useful idiot, but a duplicitous sumb*tch, on top of it. Here's an example.
Jimmy Carter himself sent a letter to the last National Summit on Cuba in 2002, proclaiming that, "the embargo against Cuba is the stupidest law ever passed in the U.S."
But wait! Jimmy Carter, while President, imposed more economic sanctions against more nations than any American president in modern history.
But wait! Jimmy Carter, while President, imposed more economic sanctions against more nations than any American president in modern history.
That extract came from this informative article concerning the leftist rush to normalize trade with the murderer, Fidel Castro. The article is a tad (just a tad) longer than I usually link to, but I thought it an interesting read. We should be trying to bring freedom and democracy to the Cuban people first. Save the trade talks for after that.
*added that asterisk, as I try not to use profanity and that one slipped thru on me when I originally posted it.

I'm gathering that you're not a big Carter fan.
I didn't vote for him. I was only 16, so I didn't vote against him, either though. But I did talk bad about him at my hay baling job. Seriously. I didn't want him to win, but couldn't do anything about it.

Actually, Ed, I wasn't planning on dumping on poor ol' Jimmy, again. But, I thought the article interesting and was scratching my head on a lead-in to post it and since the Moron from Plains was mentioned in it... it just fell into place. :-)
No, I do not like the man.
Well, let me just say that you hide your disdain like a gentleman.
