The fair has come and gone but they certainly seemed to cover it all. For along with the rides, games, midway and livestock judging you could have taken the giant colon tour.
I lived my first 39 years never more than about 40 miles from the Indiana State Fair, and never once attended it. Just never could work up enough interest to bother. Probably has something to do with the fact I have never liked being in crowds.
Darned we've a lot in common, Fish. The crowd thing, not the 40 miles from Indy thing although I have done a couple (3, I think) Indy State Fairs but those were strictly to see AMA Flat Track racing, the ONLY wheeled racing event worth watching, IMHO.
