The tide is turning

This is a good sign. A Zogby poll shows the majority of likely voters wants to open up the outer continental shelf for oil exploration. Possibly even more persuasive is that 58% of Democrats agree with that.

Like they say, "Money talks and bullsh*t walks!" You get into people's wallets deep enough they start paying attention. This high oil price isn't felt only at the pump, it's starting to creep into our groceries and into every aspect of our daily life.

I think Don Surber or someone smarter than me (which is a whole bunch of folks) says $4 was the equilibrium price. Folks would tolerate any price up to that point and then the proverbial straw broke the camel's back at $4.
