Now you see it, now you don't

Which amazes you more? The Ebbinghaus Illusion, the Fraser Spiral Illusion or maybe it's the Kanizsa Triangle that fascinates you. Those are only 3 of 20 optical illusions for you to gaze and ponder at.

That sort of stuff always amazed me. But of course it doesn't take much to amaze a simple mind like mine. That Lilac Chaser is awesome.

Those are interesting, but I think the greatest optical illusion today is the illusion that televised news actually gives us any news. They give you the perfect illusion you are receiving news, but on close examination you begin to realize it's just entertainment.

You and I are of the age that we remember when we had only 3 choices for televised news; Walter, Chet & David, or Peter.

Plus the Internet has certainly been a blessing as it allows us to search for truth on our own rather than being spoonfed by some leftist talking head from network TV.

I love those things. I liked the first one (the 3 tubes) and the lilac chaser. Never seen them before.

I like watching Fox News with the sound off. The chicks are pretty hot, but I figure they're talking crap.

I am still a little non-plussed by your avatar. His smile seems to follow me, no matter which direction I turn.

Fox News with the sound off, hmmmm. Interesting. I think I'll try that with Jane Skinner and some of the other Fox babes. Thanks for the tip.

Oh, and congratulations on being the first commenter ever on this blog to use "non-plussed". That's a term you don't run into very often. So to an amateur etymologist like me it was a delight to see it.

And the avatar? You are feeling the power of Slim. You'll soon be yodelling in the shower!

So, in KY ya'll call that yodelling??
