Polenta. The other grit. I think. Some kind of European version.
Regardless, the real deal is this weekend in St George, SC.
Me? I prefer 'em plain with just a touch of real butter and a big dollop of honey and that's it. Although I did have some ham/cheese grits one time down in Montgomery, Alabama and they were quite tasty. So tasty, in fact, that I tried to duplicate 'em once or twice but never did quite get the same taste.
I figured that cooking up tasty, tricked-up grits must be a skill inherent only with the Southern born or sumtin' like that.

Darn, I hardly recognize the place. I ain't been here in a while. I like it. Shot the CETME lately?
Those low country people like shrimp and grits.
Yep, a radical change for sure, A.I. I've been messing with it for several days now and figure this particular template/style is about as good as it'll get.
CETME? No, I haven't had it out since last Summer. In fact, we haven't been to the range since late November last year, too durned cold and wet. If I remember right I took the German K-98 and one of my Mosin-Nagant 91/30s. #1 son just took his SMLE. So it was strictly a bolt-action outing.
I used to haul about half dozen or so different ones out to shoot at a time. Then finally one day afterwards I realized I just didn't really want to clean that many darned guns in one sitting anymore. So that was that. I only take 2 long guns shooting nowadays. Much quicker cleaning session that way. :-)

Not sure what a CETME is, but as far a pistol I have a Hi-Power 9mm in my bedside table and with one in the chamber and 13 in the magazine I'm ready for just about anything. Why do you want a revolver instead with only 6 rounds available?
True, the .357 packs a punch but I would think you'd want more ammo available.
I have a number of semi-auto pistols, doug w. and enjoy shooting them. But, when the SHTF I always thought that the simpler, the better. So, with a revolver you just point and pull the trigger, no worry about will I "limp wrist" it, will the round "stovepipe" and jam the action? No, with a revolver you don't have to worry 'bout that sort of stuff.
Your mileage may vary, of course. :-)
