My goodness! How did this happen? Former DC Mayor Marion Barry robbed at gunpoint in his own home.
I thought DC had some of the toughest gun control laws in the nation. Gun control laws that were passed to make DC a safer place. Could it be that those laws don't work? (**)
(**) Tongue-in-cheek as those of us with just a smidgen of intelligence know that gun control laws DO NOT WORK as advertised! The best crime deterrent is the honest, ARMED citizen.
