142 years ago tomorrow, Abraham Lincoln delivered The Gettysburg Address. I don't know in what depth this great speech is taught in our schools nowadays, but in my time I recall we were required to memorize certain portions of it.
I doubt if that's done today. So, as a service to today's generation of school kids, I offer a more up-to-date version.
