It seems some educators have elected to drop the term "freshman" as they want their students to be "aware of the possible misogynistic, oppressive or non-inclusive language."

There's a teacher in the extended family, a very good one from what I gather. Plus, my mother was a one room school teacher during the depression down in the West Virginia coalfields. So, I'm not going to slam teachers... there are some good ones out there.

But stories like the one above make me think of that line, "Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach."
