Thirty caliber and thirty grains of powder

The Marlin Model 336 .30-30 lever action rifle. I've got one, a 336CS that I paid a fellow $75 for about 10 years ago. He said he really wasn't a rifle type guy, had bought it new on impulse and had only put 2 boxes of shells through it. I didn't hesitate a second getting my wallet out for that deal!

I don't shoot it a lot, but I did put a Redfield scope that I've had for years on it and even with these old eyes I can about hit what I aim at with that rig.
